If you are a normal human like me, you love a free printable. They are especially handy this time of year, when you are finding little gifts to give friends and family!

Elisabeth of Wingmade has some really clever printable Valentine notecards, and when I saw them I knew I had to use them. It just so happens that “more than or equal to” is literally the math unit my 1st grader is in, so we are talking about this all. the. time (anyone else need to redirect attention for at-home-school kids all the ding dong day?). But, it also means every single person in this house can appreciate these printables!

I made a zip pouch using the 4″ FPP house pattern from Center Street Quilts, then bordered it to be 6 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ as my bag size. I gave it a bit of quilting before I sewed it into a pouch, so it is a nice, sturdy pouch! I used a 9″ zipper that’s been in my collection for ages. This cheerful pouch was calling for a bright zipper! Then, I filled it with some cute and useful office supplies.

If you haven’t made a zip pouch before… well, definitely give it a try! Among the millions of links I found on Pinterest, the See Kate Sew and Melly Sews versions are good for beginners!

I also picked up some Avengers stickers (this is my fourth package(?) of these stickers, I use them up!) for my husband. He always jokingly complains he’s third in line to my affections, behind sewing and Marvel. But at least these say he’s MORE or Equal to! He’d say equal 😉 I say more!

So, depending on your intended recipient, you can have an “I Love You” or “I Love Our Friendship” printable. I’m using both!
