September brings all kinds of feels to the year, like anticipation for Fall and then… inevitably… the gift-giving and family gathering months. But, since we aren’t ready to talk about those just yet, let’s just talk about showing appreciation in general!

I had a creative block hit me earlier this week and instead of wallowing too long I decided to reuse a previous design (from my fabric line, Primrose Hill) and give it some new life in something my sewing and quilting friends could enjoy. Since I am far away from my usual friends, I feel an even greater sense of appreciation for my online community for keeping me connected and feeling like I’m part of something. I wish I could hand deliver these hand lettered notes to you all in person and say THANK YOU! Instead, some free printables will have to suffice.

I used the motifs from my Primrose Hill line and recolored them into bright pinks and blues, and put some fun quilting and sewing quotes on them too! The page has 4 different designs, and cut lines to help get the 4″ x 5″ notecard sizes just right.

They are perfect for little gift cards, or just to say hello. Or, tape them up on your wall for a little inspiration while you create 🙂

I did the lettering, as usual (when I get in a design rut I often just letter anything that comes to mind… I have lots of random papers and computer files full of odd stuff ha ha), which is one of my creative outlets. It is always fun to combine these two beautiful things- sewing and lettering!

Indulge your quilty consciences and print some for yourself! I’d love to see how you use them. I hope it helps you find reasons to reach out to the sewing friends you have in your life 🙂 Click the link below for the download,
