It’s been a hot minute since I made my last Daisy Lane quilt, which is too bad because it’s one of my favorite patterns! When I saw the Midsummer Meadow fabric line by Katherine Lenius, I knew it wanted to be a Daisy Lane quilt.

I made another baby size because my baby quilt supply is dwindling! That’s a good thing- it means my friends are having babies 🙂 But it does mean I need to buckle down on my baby quilt bonanza… I’ve made quite the dent in my stash so far, this quilt not included since I used new fabric for it 😉

The blocks in this pattern are set on point, which means lots of snowballed corners for those leaves, but the end result is so worth it! I really love how the leaves chain those flowers all together.

As with the last Daisy Lane quilt, I just couldn’t go with my standard white background… this time, I used the Dappled print from the Midsummer Meadow line in Blush. I LOVE this color, and I love the print. I used the same print in Jade for the leaves- it is a great basic that I want to use in lots of other projects!

I backed the quilt in Ditsy Dot from my Flutter and Shine fabric line, and quilted it in a coordinating coral thread. It’s also been awhile since I quilted in something besides white or off-white thread! Overall, it turned out so great and I’m thrilled to be able to hand it off to a happy little baby girl soon!
